The Tower is a new Americanime project I've been working on. It is meant to be an animated TV show, drawn in my art style (which is heavily anime-influenced). Due to the many religious themes tied into the show, I suspect it would have a rating no lower than TV-14. The target audience are young adults, male and female, aged 16 to late-twenties. Depending on how sophisticated I get with the plot, The Tower may appeal to older audiences. Because of the many Judeo-Christian allusions in the show, members of those faiths may also be drawn to it. However, I do not intend for this to be a "Christian" show. As many Japanese shows and video games often do, The Tower simply draws from those rich traditions for inspiration.
Several themes will pervade The Tower, but the primary one is whether one can escape the past—if sins really can be forgiven. Can people change? How far is one willing to go to evade his destiny? Do people truly have a purpose, and if so, do they create it...or does God?
